Amy, I'm a 44 yr old retired Air Force Medical Administrative expert with a B.S in Health Policy Administration. What do I need to do in order to get into the executive fast track?

Amy, I agree! I just moved to Charlotte, NC and having a hard time finding a new job, like everyone else. I feel for entry level people. I am very skilled (that does not seem to be a benefit at this point in my life. I would love to know who is hiring in Charlotte.

AmyDaws, that's a great point. BusinessWeek didn't include location of the headquarters of these companies. That's probably because most of them have offices all over the country and the world. I'd see if a particular company interests you, then find out if they have an office in your city. Best!

This is a great article but these companies are national corporations. What about industries where I can apply where I live?
